The Tollcross International Swimming Centre is the venue for the inaugural Scottish National Team Championships. Scotland’s top swimming clubs go head to head in the now iconic pool that hosted the Glasgow 2014 games, in a competition to be named the top club – with the added bonus of some of the Scottish stars from the Commonwealth Games in action!
The top Scottish swimming teams have been invited to participate in these Championships based on their performances in the Team Competitions at the 2014 National Championships and National Age Group Championships.
Session 1: Warm Up: 10:30 Start: 11:30. This will comprise the Junior Team Championships, where swimmers aged 16 years and under representing the top Scottish teams from the 2014 National Age Group Championships will compete against each other for the title of Scottish Junior Team Champions.
Session 2: Open Team Championships. Warm Up: 14:00 Start: 15:00. In Session 2 swimmers representing the top Scottish teams from the 2014 National Championships will compete for the title of Scottish Open Team Champions.
Each session will be as follows:
50m Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, Breaststroke ~ 100m Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, Breaststroke ~ 200m Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, Breaststroke, Individual Medley ~ 400m Freestyle, Individual Medley ~ 4x50m Freestyle Team ~ 4x50m Medley Team
