2017 Scottish Volleyball Finals

Day 1 of the 2017 Scottish Volleyball Finals taking place at The University of Edinburgh.  Stand by for no less than 12 matches over the next three days: tonight’s matches start at 5.45pm and spectating is free.

The opening day of action features the annual Student International Challenge between Scottish Students and Scottish under 23’s.  The student teams have been vying for selection for this match, as well as other tournaments, in the hope of retaining the Paul McPate trophies they won last year.  Meanwhile the Scottish under 23 sides boast some full international caps who will be trying to show their respective national team coaches they should be in the mix for selection for upcoming international tournaments.  With so much at stake you can be sure that both matches will be keenly contested.

Running order of matches:-

5.45pm: FBS – Women’s Student International Challenge.  Scottish Student Women vs Scotland Women.

7.45pm: FBS – Men’s Student International Challenge.  Scottish Student Men vs Scotland Men.

Spectating is free tonight, tickets are available via the ‘Get Tickets link.

Entrance to the event for spectators is through the main entrance to the University Building.
