Kyles Athletic and Newtonmore go to head-to-head at Mossfield Park in the 2017 final of the Artemis Macaulay Cup. Throw up is at 2pm with admission on the gate.
Competition has been fierce in this year’s Artemis Macaulay Cup, featuring the eight top-placed league teams from the north and south of Scotland as at the end of the 2016 season.
Kyles Athletic reached the final courtesy of a 2-0 win over Oban Camanachd while Newtonmore coasted through their last four encounter with Lovat winning 3-0. It’s hard to pick a favourite going into today’s final as while Kyles Athletic are currently riding high at the top of the Premiership it’s Newtonmore who have come out on top in matches between the sides this season, prevailing 4-1 and 3-1 in consecutive matches in July in the Camanachd Cup and league respectively.
There’s precious little to choose between the teams. Who will triumph this afternoon? There’s only one way to find out: it’s all to play for at Mossfield Stadium this afternoon!
Throw up at 2pm.
Admission is on the gate. Adults £7/Concessions £4 (includes match programme).
