Kyles Athletic (pictured) will be keen to get back to Premiership action after suffering consecutive cup defeats in the Camanachd Cup and Artemis Macauley Cup, losing out to Lochaber and Inveraray respectively. Despite those disappointments the team from Tighnabruaich have plenty to play for with a chance to add league silverware to their fourth consecutive Gregor Cameron Consultancy Celtic Society Cup Final triumph earlier in the season.
Currently 4th in the table on 14 points, Kyles Athletic have played less games than the teams above them, one of whom is today’s opponents Kinlochshiel who are on 15 points just four points behind leaders Newtonmore. A draw will not be a great result for either team this afternoon which should make for an attacking game of shinty.
