Prepare to witness agony and ecstasy in equal measure as the iconic Play-Off Finals return to The O2 on Sunday 18 May. The event showcases the top teams from the women’s and men’s Super League who will battle it for silverware in front of a packed house at Greenwich Peninsula. Strap yourselves in for the Super League Basketball Play-Off Finals!.
In 2024, London Lions made it a famous double at the British Basketball Play-Off Finals (renamed for this season). London Lions Women beat Newcastle Eagles 92-65 to complete a clean sweep of domestic trophies to add to their EuroCup victory. Abby Meyers was the standout player for the Lions landing 31 points. Later in the day, London Lions Men beat their Cheshire Phoenix counterparts in a thrilling encounter. The scores were level with just nine seconds remaining. Cue the redoubtable Sam Dekker who landed a three-pointer for the Lions to clinch the trophy 88-85.
Now attention turns towards the 2025 finals where the two women’s and two men’s teams will compete in a spectacular double-header in front of an expected capacity crowd of over 16,000. Fans will witness some of the country’s best ballers do battle, while also enjoying fantastic courtside entertainment – from MCs and music to dancers and mascots and much much more.

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Getting to The O2 via tube is recommended. North Greenwich station is right on the doorstep and on the Jubilee Line in Zones 2 and 3.
