🎾 A stellar line-up of the world’s best tennis players are in London this week for the 2019 Nitto ATP Finals taking place 10-17 November.  Tickets are on sale.

The Nitto ATP Finals is the year-end climax to the men’s professional tennis season.  Featuring only the world’s best eight qualified singles players and doubles teams the tournament is contested in a round-robin format with the best four players and doubles teams reaching the knockout semi-finals stage in search of the last title of the season.

In 2018 the ATP Finals brought a close to another spectacular season on the ATP World Tour, as 21-year-old Alexander Zverev defeated World No.1 Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3 to capture the biggest title of his career to date.  By winning the prestigious title, Zverev became the youngest winner of the season-ending tournament since Djokovic himself in 2008.

In the ATP Race to London singles standing Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic lead the way in first and second place respectively.  They will be joined in London by fellow tennis legend Roger Federer who has qualified for a record 17th time.  Also appearing at The O2 is Daniil Medvedev who overtook Federer to climb into third spot in the standings when winning the Shanghai title recently.

20-year-old reigning Next Gen ATP Finals champion Stefanos Tsitsipas is one to watch having guaranteed his place while Alexander Zverev is expected to qualify and defend the title he won in 2018.

The Doubles Race to London is headed by the Columbian pairing of Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah while the all-American pairing of twin brothers Bob Byran and Mike Bryan – the most successful duo in the history of men’s tennis – will be looking to add another title to their extraordinary haul of major tournaments.

Chris Kermode, ATP Executive Chairman & President, said: “Since 2009, the Nitto ATP Finals at The O2 have provided a spectacular finish to each season on the ATP Tour, and we expect this year’s tournament to be as exciting as ever.  We would like to thank the 2.5 million fans who have come out in such great numbers to support the world’s best players at The O2 over the past 10 years in London, and we look forward to another successful event in 2019.”
