Now in itās twelth glorious year, The Oxford & Cambridge Goat Race is set to take place on exactly the same date, at exactly the same time, as what some event listings have already named āthe other raceā ā the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race.
āWith all proceeds going toĀ Spitalfields City Farm,Ā sell-out crowds of around 1200 are expected to watch two goats, one named Oxford and one named Cambridge, tear around the cobbled track of Spitalfields City Farm.
Now established as Londonās foremost goat-related nonsense mini-festival, expect musicians, cocktails, games and a vast array of pun-based performance and entertainment.
See who bounces to victory in the Shoat Race, test your stamina in the Note Race or bleat your way through some Goat-e-oke. Or if the intellectual is more your thing, then get lyrical in the Hendrickās Gin Goatry Slam.
