UCI Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup

The Nevis Range in Fort William is the venue this weekend for this hugely popular UCI Mountain Bike World Cup event.  Action from 8.30am with admission on the gate.

Day 1 of the action includes the BUFF® 4X Pro Tour competition which sees riders race down a wide track, 4 at a time.  The course is 200m long and ends in the car park which is a great viewing area (with a giant screen showing riders on upper sections of the course) as you can also climb up the spectator track to see more of the action.

The Grand Finals of this UCI Mountain Bike World Cup event, featuring the top 4 women and top 4 men, take place between 5.30pm and 7pm.  Prior to the 4X Ride finals there’s qualification for the World Cup DHI for elite women (at 1.30pm) and elite men (at 2pm).

Renowned for its extreme descents, stunning views and great crowds this Fort William event can lay claim to being the most popular leg of the eight-event World Cup circuit.  A great opportunity to watch top-class mountain bike racing up close and personal, spectators can also take the gondola to the top of the track and walk down the side of the track to see the different sections of the track.

Gates open at 8.30am with a full day of action as per the Event Schedule.

Advance ticket sales are now closed.

Ticket on the day are available at the gate subject to availability, checking the Fort William Twitter feed before travelling is recommended.  Daily prices available on the event website.

The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Series continues tomorrow with a highlight of the weekend, the Men’s and Women’s World Cup Downhill Finals.
