UFC Fight Night Glasgow

UFC Fight Night Glasgow returns to the SSE Hydro Arena with a host of stars from the world of mixed martial arts ready to enter the octgagon at UFC Fight Night 113.  Doors open 3.30pm with tickets available.

UFC’s second-ever event at the Hydro promises to be every bit as good as the first with the headline event a match-up between two of the best welterweights in the world, namely Iceland’s Gunnar Nelson versus Santiago Ponzinibbio from Argentina.

And before the main event there’s plenty of home interest with Joanne Calderwood and Stevie Ray two Scottish fighters who will be looking to repeat their performances the the UFC Fight Night Glasgow back in July 2015 when then both won $50,000 performance bonuses.  Ray, who hails from Fife, takes on American Paul Felder in a highly anticipated lightweight bout.  Also in action is Scotland’s latest UFC star, Paul ‘Bearjew’ Craig.  The former BAMMA light-heavyweight champion steps into the ring with USA’s Khahil Rountree Jr.
