London Giants are all set to host a double-header of Volleyball England club matches showcasing their top women’s and men’s team. Strap yourselves in for a feast of volleyball on Sunday 22 February in Brixton. London Giants will be joined by Essex Trinity and Richmond Docklands for a bumper day of Super League and NVL Division One action. London Giants Double-Header Weekend tickets are on sale now.
The day kicks off with a women’s National Volley League (NVL) Division 1 showdown between London Giants vs Essex Trinity at 1.30pm. The NVL is next step down from the Super League (see below). Heading into the new year London Giants are currently top of Division 1 South with a perfect record of 6 wins from six matches. Essex Trinity are fourth in the table. A win today for the Londoners will put them in pole position for promotion.
At 3.30pm all eyes will be on a men’s Super League match-up between London Giants v Richmond Docklands. The Super League is the pinnacle of English club volleyball. At the time of writing London Giants are top of the league and on a mission to be crowned 2025/2026 champions. They have a one-point lead over nearest rivals Malory Eagles who are in second place. Richmond Docklands are currently down in seventh. However, the Docklands side will be itching to get one over on the Giants and claim London bragging rights.
