Watsonians Men’s 1s v Western Wildcats Men’s 1s

Men’s National League Division 1.  Watsonians have it all to do as they take on Western Wildcats this afternoon at Peffermill.

The Edinburgh side have had a very disappointing season so far, finding themselves at the bottom of the table after failing to record a single win out of the 14 matches they have played so far.  That said Watsonians did manage to stop the rot last time out holding Hillhead to a 1-1 draw to register their first point of the season.  It’s a different story for the Western Wildcats who are sitting in third place in the table, 9 points behind the leaders Kelburne Bromac, and fresh from a 4-1 away win against PLS Team Sport Clydesdale.

A win looks odds-on for the visiting team, however perhaps the recent point against against Hillhead could prove to be a turning point for the home team.  All will be revealed from 1.30pm.

Match starts at 1.30pm.  Entry for spectators is free with seating inside and out, and refreshments available from a café/bar.
