2024 EVENT PREVIEW

Taking place over six days the British Open Roehampton – a Super Series event on the ITF Tour – will feature top wheelchair athletes and junior players on the grass courts at the Wimbledon Qualifying and Community Sports Centre in Roehampton.  Two days of junior matches start on Sunday 30 June ahead of the knockout stages for all competitions from Tuesday 2 July.  Finals day is on Friday 5 July.

In 2023 the British Open celebrated 30 years at the Nottingham Tennis Centre.  The line-up included a host of international stars including Grand Slam winning duo Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid and multiple Paralympic medallist Lucy ShukerHighlights here.  This year marks the first staging of the event in Roehampton.

TICKETS, TIMETABLE & TRAVEL

🎟️ Tickets are off sale.

🕚 Timetable – Sunday 30 June and Monday 1 July features juniors matches only.  Tuesday 2 July features knockout stages for all players.  Wednesday 3 July is quarter-finals day, Thursday 4 July is semi-finals day and Friday 5 July is finals day.

🎾 Player entry list – Will be viewable here once announced ahead of the tournament.

🚊 🚗 Travel tips.  Public transport is the best way to travel.  Entry to the Grounds is via the Main Entrance in Bank Lane, which is off Priory Lane.  The nearest railway station is Barnes, with connections to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo.  The station is a short taxi ride or approximately a 20-minute walk to the venue.  Alternatively, take a London Underground train to East Putney station on the District Line.  Then take the 337 bus alighting at Rosslyn Park RFC which is a 10-minute walk from the Grounds.
