Rangers Ladies v Glasgow City

SWPL1.  Rangers Ladies welcome their counterparts from Celtic in what promises to be an intriguing clash under the New Tinto Park floodlights.  Kick-off is at 8pm with admission on the gate.

Expect no quarter to be asked and no quarter to be given as these two old rivals go head-to-head in a midweek showdown.  Rangers Ladies have not had the start to the season they would have liked with 3 wins and 6 losses from their nine league matches so far.  And their preparation for tonight’s match has not been ideal, the Rangers team coming off the back of a 5-0 defeat at the hands of champions Glasgow City earlier this month.

Meanwhile Celtic FC Women are currently in third place in the SWPL1 table and would be challenging Hibernian and Glasgow City at the top, but for a brace of narrow defeats at the hands of the former.  The Celtic side go into tonight’s match as favourites – after their 7-0 demolition of bottom of the table Aberdeen on their last league outing just 10 days ago – but you can be sure the home team will be doing their utmost to take all three points along with local bragging rights.

Kick-off is at 8pm.

Admission on the gate: Adults £5/Concessions £2.
