It’s official. The WDST Seniors World Darts Championship returns in 2026 to the legendary Circus Tavern. Darts players from around the globe will do battle in Essex. Taking place over three days and six sessions, get your World Senior Darts Championship tickets now to witness the action live!
Returning to Purfleet from 19-21 February 2026, the fifth staging of the WSDT Seniors World Darts Championships is set to have a £50,000 first prize on offer for the winner of the tournament.
ONES TO WATCH
Ross Montgomery is the defending champion. The Scot defeated Graham Usher 5-1 in last year’s final. Montgomery, known as ‘The Boss’ took home the top prize of £30,000. He also continued a Scottish winning streak, following in the footsteps of previous champions John Henderson and Robert Thornton.
Montgomery can expect stiff competition on his return from previous winner Henderson among others. Henderson is looking to regain the title he won with a near-flawless display when whitewashing Colin McGarry in the 2024 final.
Two-time champion Robert Thornton cannot be ruled out. ‘The Thorn’ still has designs on making it a hat-trick of crowns in Essex. The legendary Steve Beaton is another player who could go deep in the tournament. ‘The Bronzed Adonis’ made his eagerly waited WSDT debut last year, coming fresh from the PDC ranks to challenge for the most prestigious prize in Seniors darts.
A whole host of other familiar names will have designs on etching their names in history, and you can watch the drama unfold live, with affordable tickets available to see the icons of the sport.
