2025/2026 SEASON PREVIEW

Old Trafford is enveloped in history.  The largest club football stadium in England is home to the most successful team in the Premier League since its inception in 1992.

12 years on since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, Manchester United have yet to find a long term replacement.  Managers have come and gone including Erik ten Hag who oversaw Carabao Cup and FA Cup final glory, but couldn't do likewise in the Premier League and Champions League.  Ruben Amorim also failed to last the course in Manchester.

Now Michael Carrick is in charge and tasked with taking the Red Devils back to the pinnacle of domestic and European football.  Last season Man Utd reached the Europa League final where the were beaten by Spurs.  This season the Theatre of Dreams expects more and Brazil forward Matheus Cunha - signed in June for £62.5m from Wolves - could be key in delivering success.
