SportonSpec Backstage

For a fully immersive experience at a sporting event why not try one of our hosted trips?

WHAT - SportonSpec Backstage fills the gap between traditional ticket and hospitality options getting you closer to the action than you can ever imagine.

Our trips are suitable for new or casual fans who want to learn about the history and rules of a sport, to include an preview of the event they are about to witness.  A tour of the venue follows and tips on where best to be and when to watch the action, not to mention opportunites to meet the stars of the show.  With a host on hand throughout a trip to answer any questions you may prepare to experience a unique day of spectator sport.

EXAMPLE - Last May Surbiton Hockey Club hosted the EuroHockey Club Cup (pictured right).  Europe's top women's club tournament proved a great success with many international stars on show including a Surbiton team fielding members of the GB team who won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.  With superb action on the pitch, a fan village to explore and numerous stars from the world of hockey in attendance (many watching) happy to chat and have photos a memorable time was had by our group.

CURRENT - See below for our horse racing trips to Kempton Park (open to all and bookable via Airbnb) and stay tuned here for news of future trips.

ENQUIRIES - If you would like to request a SportonSpec Backstage group trip (whether social or work) to a sport of your choice send us an email to info@sportonspec.co.uk and we'll be happy to advise you on what we can arrange and costs involved.

SportonSpec trips to Kempton Park via Airbnb

Experience the sport of kings at Kempton Park just 16 miles from central London where racing has taken place since 1878.

An introduction to the history of GB horse racing precedes a bespoke preview of the day’s racing - either jumps or Flat racing depending on date - to include horses, trainers and jockeys to look out for.

A tour of the course to familiarise you with the facilities together with advice on how to read the racecard & place a bet completes the build-up.

Then it's time for the racing to start!  Your guide will be on hand throughout to help with any questions and also suggestions on the best vantage points to see the horses close up.
