After matches against Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos in 2021 and 2022, Jacksonville Jaguars returned for NFL London at Wembley in 2023. The Jaguars celebrated their 11th appearance in the capital with a 23-7 win over Atlanta Falcons in front of a packed house at Wembley Stadium.
In 2024 the NFL action is back at Wembley. This Jaguars will again take centre stage with their opponents now confirmed as New England Patriots. The game will take place on Sunday 20 October. The Jaguars will again play back-to-back games in London, the first of which is at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 13 October against Chicago Bears.
American Football first graced these shores courtesy of NFL Europe in the 1980’s. The project may not have lasted but it did an interest in the sport in the UK, setting the scene for the international series in 2007. 17 years on London hosts three more matches.
The Jaguars match at Wembley is once again part of an American Football extravaganza in the capital. As in 2023, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host two games. The Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets and Chicago Bears all feature alongside the Jaguars.
