It’s official. NFL London is back in the capital this autumn with Wembley Stadium set to host a showdown between Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. The game will take place on Sunday 18 October. NFL London at Wembley tickets are on sale.
After matches against Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams in recent years, Jacksonville Jaguars are all set for their 13th appearance in the capital. Another bumper crowd is set to be in attendance for the game against the Texans.
American Football first graced these shores courtesy of NFL Europe in the 1980’s. The project may not have lasted but it did an interest in the sport in the UK, setting the scene for the international series in 2007. 19 years on London hosts three more matches.
The Jaguars match at Wembley is once again part of an American Football extravaganza in the capital. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host two games. Indianapolis Colts v Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles v Jacksonville Jaguars.
