Crystal Palace drew 1-1 at London rivals Fulham last time out in the Premier League.  The Eagles remain fourteenth place in the table.

Crystal Palace were without creative outlet Eberiche Eze who is always pivotal.  However, an an unsung Palace hero provided the goods instead.  Oliver Glasner’s side looked dangerous from the opening, electric winger Michael Olise dangerous as expected, but failed to convert any chances.  After falling behind 1-0 early in the second half, talisman Odsonne Edouard replaced Jean -Philippe Mateta and nearly scored with his first touch. The Eagles continued to push and a wonder-strike by Jeffrey Schlupp sent the Homsdale Fanatics beserk.  A goal-of-the-season contender!

Update: 6 May.  Crystal Palace demolished Manchester United 4-0 at Selhurst Park to the delight of the home fans.  The Eagles are finishing the season in style and looking to climb the table with their relegation worries behind them.

Up next, Crystal Palace host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday 19 May in their final home match of the season.  With the Eagles looking to finish the season with a flourish, expect the noise levels to be high at a ground boasting one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League.

Attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze – who celebrated an England call up earlier this season – continues to shine for Crystal Palace as their main outlet, while flair winger Michael Olise has returned from injury and looks back to his best.  Rock-solid defender Joachim Andersen continues to solidify the heart of Palace’s defence.
