SEASON SO FAR

Crystal Palace were overjoyed in their 3-0 win over relegation-threatened Burnley at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.  A result which saw climb up to thirteenth in the table.

Following Roy Hodgson’s swift departure from the Eagles, Oliver Glasner took charge in style.  Despite not breaking the deadlock until the 68th minute, Palace were in charge for strong spells of the game; with Glasner’s imprint on the side very apparent.  Goals from Chris Richards, Jordan Ayew and Jean-Philippe Mateta ensured the visitors returned to Lancashire with no points to smile about.

Crystal Palace are back on home soil for a proverbial relegation ‘six-pointer’ when they entertain Luton Town on Saturday 9 March.  A cagey affair is in store with both sides desperate for points as they continue to fight for Premier League safety.  Expect the noise levels to be high at a ground boasting one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League.

ONES TO WATCH

Attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze – who celebrated an England call up earlier this season – continues to shine for Crystal Palace as their main outlet, while flair winger Michael Olise has returned from injury and looks back to his best.  Rock-solid defender Joachim Andersen continues to solidify the heart of Palace’s defence.
