In 2025, London Mavericks finished in fourth place at the end of the regular season, before losing to Manchester Thunder in the play-off semi-finals. The Mavericks are looking to progress further this season and have retained the nucleus of their talented squad.
Ellie Rattu will once again captain the team. A regular in Jess Thirlby’s England squad, Rattu has brought experience and vision to her role since joining the Mavericks from London Pulse in 2024.
Joining Rattu from the 2025 squad are the likes of Amelia Hall, Emily Andrew, Emma Thacker, Izzi Phillips, Razia Quashie and Suzie Liverseidge. See below for the full squad which includes new signing Jamie Van Wyk. Known for her defensive prowess, South African star Wyn plays for her national team the SPAR Proteas and looks to be a valuable addition to the Mavericks squad.
