The Scotland national team have an intriguing autumn Test Series to look forward to, with three international fixtures in as many weekends starting with a visit from 2015 World Cup runners-up Australia. After the Wallabies on 12th November, it’s Argentina followed by a showdown with Georgia.  The Scottish players can only benefit from taking on some of the world’s best and there are exciting times ahead as they also ply their trade for their domestic clubs during the season.

We’ll have spectator opportunities covered from professional PRO12 action to the top domestic fixtures in the BT Premiership and Cup, not to mention the best from the women’s rugby (both club and international) and news of Rugby Sevens tournaments (including beach!) taking place in the spring.

Glasgow Warriors will have their target set on recapturing the PRO12 trophy they won for the first time in 2015 a 31-13 victory over Munster in final.  Meanwhile Edinburgh Rugby will be going all out for a top six finish that will secure a European Rugby Champions Cup place next season, while also looking to go deep in this season’s European Rugby Challenge Cup.  Both finals are due to be held at BT Murrayfield in May.

Meanwhile in the BT Premiership Heriot’s are bidding to make it a hat-trick of titles having finished top dogs in the league in 2015 and 2016.  There’s plenty of competition with Ayr and Melrose among the sides likely to challenge, while newly promoted Watsonians aiming to make their mark among the best club side in Scotland after their impressive performances last season in National League Division 1.
