#GlasgowScotland2023 is in the sporting books.  The Perfect Stage hosted the biggest cycling event ever and it didn’t disappoint! 

13 UCI World Championships joined as one to create a celebration of cycling like no other in August 2023.  From BMX to Road to Para-Cycling Track to Mountain Biking action and beyond 11 days featured the #PowerOfTheBike to inspire a nation.  

Over 7,000 athletes from 129 nations took part competing for 653 medals.  Great Britain topped the cycling and para-cycling medal table with 56 and 44 medals respectively.

The Women’s Elite Road Race brought the curtain down on the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships with Belgium’s Lotte Kopecky claiming the final medal and last of the 220 rainbow jerseys awarded.  An estimated one million spectators witnessed the action unfold live across the 11 days.
